Making God word paramount in YOUR life.

Trials And Tribulations:  A Reason To Rejoice

“We also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance.”  Romans 5:3. James 1:2-4

If u’re nt in the middle of a trial right nw,just hang around. None of us can dodge trials. So we need to find out d resources God has given us a deal with trials.
Wat is a trial, anyway?  It’s an adverse circumstance dat God allows or even brings about in d lives of us His children 2 deepen our faith. We’ll see this week dat trials are nt designed 2 sink our boat, but 2 help us improve our navigational skills. In d words of d Apostles Paul & James, we can actually rejoice wen we undergo trials, bcos we know God is doing someting special in our lives.
Nw trials can come from a number of directions.  Sometimes God sends u a trial to teach u a specific lesson. At other times,it comes simply bcos u live in a sin-cursed world & d curse rubs off on u. So u become a victim of a crime or accident or illness dat crashes into ur life.
Sometimes trials are a result of ur own sin. U yield 2 a temptation dat leads 2 a set of circumstances dat are tough 2 deal wit & don’t 4get dat d enemy can attack u wit trials 4 d purpose of bringing abt ur spiritual defeat.
So my concern is nt so much d source of ur trials, bt wat u do wen dey show up. Hw u respond 2 cataclysmic circumstances has a lot 2 do wit wat shape u’re in wen u come out on d other side. D gud news is,u’re nt out there alone, bcos no matter wat d source of ur trial is, God has d situation well in hand. He can work out His purposes even in a trial u may bring on urself.
1 great way 2 learn hw 2 deal wit trials is 2 watch others in d middle of one.  So starting tomorrow,we’ll get into d boat wit d disciples & row out into d middle of the Sea of Galilee. Stay wit me & u’ll learn dat even wen u’re boat starts 2 rock,Jesus Christ has authority over ur trials.
U’re either in d middle, just coming out of 1,or just heading into 1. Better b ready! Blessed Friday.
